Create and customize your departments in SmartSapp to efficiently organize your employees and streamline management.
First, click on "Management" from the module selector
Once you're in the Management section, select "Employees" from the left navigation menu.
Within the Employees section, you'll find the "Departments" tab on the right side of the screen. Click on it to proceed.
By default, you'll see three default departments already created: Teaching Staff, Non-Teaching Staff, and Administrative Staff.
To customize these department names to better fit your organizational structure, simply click on the action button next to the department name you wish to change, select "Edit" and enter your desired department name.
To create a new department, click on the "New Department" button located at the top right corner of the screen.
In the prompted window, enter the name of your preferred department and click on the "Save" button to finalize the creation process.
