How to create a Canteen menu
The menu serves as the container where all meals can be added and scheduled for the school. Therefore,
the menu has to be created first before school meals can be scheduled.
To create a menu, you first have to go to the canteen module on SmartSapp by selecting canteen from the list of SmartSapp modules.
Locate ‘menu’ from the list of canteen features on the left side of your canteen window
Click on ‘create menu’ button
On the modal presented, give your menu a name.
Provide any description you may want to give your menu to provide more context for it. Kindly note that the description is completely optional, and you can proceed without any menu description.
Select the preferred meal categories to use for the menu.
Click on save to complete the menu creation process.
A successful menu creation should present you with a menu scheduling interface, as shown below.
You can now begin to add your menu items and schedule them appropriately to suit your school canteen's needs.
