How to publish a menu to your parents mobile App
After your canteen menu is created and scheduled properly, it's time to send it to parents via their parents app to showcase the appetizing menus that are served in your canteen so that they can be kept informed of what is going to be served to their children on every given day and can even make choices for what their children should eat from the menu if meal ordering is an option in your canteen.
From the list of menus created, click on the menu’s name to view the details of the menu you want to publish.
Alternatively, the menu details can also be accessed by clicking the three dots at the far right against the menu action button and selecting “View.”
On the menu details page, click on Save & publish on the menu details page.
Provide the necessary information on the publish modal provided.
Provide the period during which the menu will be visible to parents.
Indicate whether the prices should be visible to parents.
Select the set of students whose parents should receive the menu. NB:there are 2 options.
Option 1: Using the ‘Class group’ option for student selection
Indicate the campus and classes
Use the ‘Exclude specific students’ to search for students to exclude from the selected campus/class groups any student within your class or campus selection if you do not want their parents to receive the menu.
Option 2: Using the ‘specific students’ option for student selection.
Search for the specific students you want their parents to receive the menu.
Click on Save & Publish button at the bottom right corner of the pop up window to send the menu to parents.
